Check this out: it's a fantastic local market about twenty minutes north of Oban on the west coast of Scotland – praise to chief string puller, Jill Bowis, and her great team of co-pullers including Mairi Stones, the lovely felt craftswoman and talented artist:



Next market, if you're in the area: Thursday, 16 December, 10am-3pm and 5pm-8pm, Victory (village) Hall, Benderloch by Oban, PA37 ... – car park just past the hall, off the A828: turn right into Keil Gardens (after the bus stop), then right again into the car park.

Well worth a visit!
