I have an immigrant friend who's been desperately looking for work as a painter, removalist, etc. Having had a pretty good business year, I decided to hire him. He did a superb job a few days ago, helping me prep everything, shifting heavy pieces away from the walls and covering everything up painstakingly so that he could apply the paint swiftly. Afterwards, when two coats of paint had been applied, he helped me put everything back -- neat job! I can warmly recommend him to anyone in the Bern, Switzerland, area... :)
Shame you can't smell the slight whiff of fresh paint -- quite pleasant!
