Taynuilt, Argyll - a winter excursion to Angus Garden

Hiya
Spent a brief visit hobbling around Angus Garden today (hobbling due to flare-up of osteoarthritis in my knees, about to be sorted by acupuncturist/physiotherapist). It was a beatiful day; less cold than it was earlier this year but the lochan (or pond) was still partially frozen.
A very peaceful visit. The tranquillity of the place is wonderful, yet it is quite near the busy Oban to Glasgow road.
A few impressions below. And if you click on the title of this post, you should be taken to the Angus Garden website, which has stunning photos -- April to September tend to be more colourful but hardly more poetic.
A family of swans, two adults and three youngsters, came to see whether there might be any food. There wasn't...
The garden was "created in 1957 by Betty Macdonald in memory of her son Angus, who was killed in Cyprus" the year before.
I will definitely return later in the year as the garden is open year round and admission is very reasonable, with the usual honesty box available to receive your contribution.
