Phew!

Hiya again
Phew! I have at long, long last just shipped off my business and private accounts for 2008/09. What a slog! I have a "special relationship" with numbers and figures. Instinctively I'm actually quite good and have managed to stay well clear of debt throughout my life. But when it comes to dealing with the nitty-gritty of accounting, spreadsheets, tax returns etc., I am the world's greatest procrastinator because I resent every minute that I have to spend on this chore. It's the "chorest" of chores for me, if you know what I mean.
However, I can at last heave a sigh of relief and stand a decent chance of getting my tax return filed in time to avoid a £100 fine for late submission.
And now I'm off to the shops. I think I deserve a wee reward here, in the form of some nice fish and vegies, or some such.
It's been a lovely day out there, except for a couple of hours of driving rain followed by curtains of rain. But most of the day, because the sun is now so low above the horizon, the sky has been a luminous gold, now drawing into pinks and pale purples -- very pretty.
