Hiya
Last Sunday, the Oban Gaelic Choir joined Taynuilt Gaelic Choir (Còisir Ghàidhlig Thaigh an Uillt) to sing one of the loveliest Gaelic songs from this area. It celebrates Ballachulish Glen (Gleann Bhaile Chaoil). We sang Norman Adam's 1990 arrangement. The conductor was Taynuilt's Ann Barlow.
Yours truly was there, largely eclipsed by the conductor. :)
Here's the link to the video on youtube.
Enjoy.

As one of the MacInneses who enjoyed your singing at Ballachulish, please know how much we enjoyed your music.
I sing in my church choir at a Presbyterian Church in Louisville, Kentucky USA and forwarded this link on to my choir director.
Your singing was one of the highlights of our whole trip.
Keep singing with gusto as you do, Martha Long (daughter of Alice Gillis MacInnes of Alabama).
Thank you most kindly, dear Martha Long. How very generous of you. I will gladly pass your comment on to the members of Oban Gaelic Choir, who will all be pleased.
Keep singing -- isn't music a wonderful gift that can bring so many people together across all boundaries?!
Peace and Love to you!
