A new view

Tulips in a flower bed by Oban harbour -- for my sister-in-law Renate in Portland, OR.

Hello again

Yesterday was one of those not-very-pleasant-weather days so I decided to take some photos of my new views. What a contrast with a few days before!
This is what Oban harbour looked like last Friday:
Oban Bay and Oban from Pulpit Hill, Saturday evening:I got soaked shortly after taking the last three shots -- the first real rain since I arrived here. But it was a very pleasant evening walk nonetheless, follwing the Saturday evening one-hour meditation session at Yogoda's in the High Street.
Now for my new views from home/work -- from my sitting-room -- north-west / north / north-east:
Below the views from what will soon by my office -- the houses on the almost horizon are part of Soroba, a housing estate just south of Oban. The railway siding is just below what looks like a lighter-coloured wall in the photo after the next but is actually a tall fence:Behold the cropped grass of our drying green; behold my garden shed; behold my neighbours' trash in the bin area -- that needs sorting; it's a disgrace! Finally, the south-west view that I get if I lean out the window, or hold the camera out... I think the dark building beyond the small block of flats is Oban High School, a forbidding-looking place, at least from this angle.
