Hello again
On a very wintry day when headlines are full of the rattling of metaphorical sabres along the border between Colombia and Venezuela, I want to take a quick breather from an intense time of work.
Here's a short series of photos taken at Connell Bridge, about fifteen minutes north of Oban, Argyll, Scotland. I spent a weekend there recently and took an hour or so to look at the famous Falls of Lora, a natural phenomenon, on which my next post will have more.
Those of you who know me will know that I have a very soft spot for bridges, especially old steel ones.
Connell Bridge is a beautiful specimen:
Even on that grey, rather chilly day, I loved the view of the Bay of Oban, the intricate meeting of land and sea. Can't wait to get back there.
