Hello again
Had to do some shopping in downtown Bern today and -- lo and behold -- came across the very first tram/streetcar to test the new tracks that have been laid in the heart of the city, from the train station to Kaefigturm.
The official inauguration is scheduled for this Saturday/Sunday – should be a party! Here's hoping for some good weather.
My pbi friends and I will be out and about with baskets to sell peace doves home-baked in a real wood-heated oven. It is, after all, the International Day of Human Rights on Monday, December 10.
