I'm a Snapdragon

Hiya

Still at the office -- yes, I know, I should get a life! But hey, look at this: :)

I am a
Snapdragon

What Flower
Are You?

This was my fun for the evening. I'm pretty happy with being a "snapdragon" -- they're fun flowers and I still love doing what I did as a kid, i.e. gently squeeze the flower about half-way down between your thumb and index finger to make it open and shut -- if you do it carefully, you won't even damage the flower.
The snapdragon doesn't have much of a scent but comes in some gorgeous colours. It grows quite wild in some gardens and along the edges of sidewalks in my neighbourhood.
There's another reason why the snapdragon suits me: I was born in a Chinese year of the dragon -- so there. We're special! (ok, everyone's special, I know that, too)
Do feel free to have a go yourself! Simply click on "What Flower Are You?"
I came across this little quiz at http://bloomingwriter.blogspot.com/ -- a wonderful blog created all the way across the Atlantic in Canada full of flowers and other neat stuff. Greetings, Jodi, and your cats all! :)

PS: I had to cheat a little on one question in the quiz as I don't really have a garden. Some pots on my balcony have to do for now. One lives in hope that maybe some day...
PPS: I cheated some more and took the quiz a second time, and this is what I turned out to be:

I am a
Lily

What Flower
Are You?

Take your pick! :)
Off home now. Tomorrow is another day, and hey -- we get to sleep a little longer because we turn the clocks back for normal time (some call it winter time).

Hi Margaret, lovely to meet your blog and to read about your passions. Having pots on your balcony qualifies as a garden--after all, we all need to bloom where we're planted! :-)
The only thing to clarify is that I'm not the creator of the flower quiz; it's Hanna from This Garden is Illegal in Ohio. I know you don't say that I created it in your posting, but someone reading it might think I did...and while I'm a good writer about stuff I know about,I know nothing about HTML or anything to do with web-based programming. Hanna's blog is great, and I recommend it in my own list of blogs. I'm adding yours too, momentarily. See you again soon! regards from jodi in Nova Scotia

Not so sure about the 'snap' part!
