This super-duper speedometer reminds me of when I was piloting a glider plane, years ago now. It was an old one, and didn't have a radio. I couldn't make head or tail of the altimeter because I'd lost track of how many times the needle had already gone round the dial... But -- as the fact that I'm sitting here typing these words demonstrates -- I did make it back to Earth quite safely (six times in all!) and even managed to stay within the (wider) perimeter of the landing field. I'll never forget the fragrance of crushed wild thyme that rose from the ground as I was unstrapping myself. Dragging the plane back to the hangar was a bit of a pain, but otherwise it was a huge thrill. mmmh, yessss!
unchain my looo...
... but never run out of paper again (looks a tad fiddly, though).
now, now, let's not get above ourselves here

I think even I could manage to park a car in that space :)
Ah, now we're getting a little serious after all. Guys, keep checking, ok? Prostate cancer is just as insidious as breast cancer but can be treated if caught early.I dedicate this post to all the women who have had to deal with breast cancer in some way.

Keep her walking! Stay healthy and enjoy the weekend.
