Some of my creative writing friends don't seem to know what columbines or rose campion look like. Well, here are a few photos of the gorgeous flowers I enjoyed this past spring. They had a good run, starting late March/early April, much earlier than ever, and lasting longer than expected because a sudden cold period in May gave them a break. The pink campion are still going very strong as I type...
