It's been a mixed bag of weather lately, and personally a very busy time, which is why I didn't write any new posts. One of my activities yesterday was to distribute leaflets to protest against Switzerland's biggest retail chain, Migros, continuing to sell Chiquita bananas despite the fact that Chiquita Brands have been involved in supplying/selling arms and ammunition to paramilitaries in Colombia. Most people reacted very positively -- see one of my other blogs, http://aventurask.blogspot.com
Even now, I'm between tasks, soon have to leave for a fundraising concert downtown. :)
Some pix to illustrate the kind of gorgeous weather we've again had the last few days, pretty blowy, mind, but that kept temperatures down. Kicked up a lot of pollen, though, and my eyes are giving me a hard time. Will have to go back for some more ear acupuncture -- that really helped a couple of weeks back.

This is a shrub whose blossoms have a delicious coconutty fragrance. Yummy! Last year, these bloomed in June!
