Hello again
Back from rather an eventful weekend. It started with the launch of a beautiful book by one of my clients, Bernese artist George Steinmann, at Helmhaus in Zürich. Here's a link to his website, which badly needs updating but is still worth a visit:

The book that was launched on Thursday deals with his ten-year project in the virgin forests of the Komi republic of the Russian federation where he and countless people he worked with created detailed plans for a Centre for Sustainable Forestry.
Helmhaus currently has a retrospective of George Steinmann's art -- a beautiful exhibition! More at http://www.helmhaus.org
I spent the night on the western shore of Lake Zürich, went to sleep as it was snowing ...
... and woke up to a winter wonderland:
My friend's sister and brother-in-law aren't too happy about their view of the lake (invisible that day) being obstructed by a huge housing development going up less than ten yards from their home.
I caught the 9:14 AM suburban train back into the city for a day-long seminar on software for computer-assisted translation. I'll admit that I'd rather have stayed out in the snow. Mind you, it began to flop down from the trees in great big sodden packs. :)
More in the next post. TTFN :)
