This was the big surprise of the night -- a real cave with tiny stalactites and fairly sizable calcite blades. They grew over a period of just twenty years or so:


The cave is not usually accessible -- the guide said it takes a very special occasion for them to open the doors to this little marvel.
This turquoise-and-gold pool at the end of the tunnel was well worth the long wait and rather damp access.
