Anniversary

Hello again

The radio is playing the old Hoagie Carmichael song, Georgia on my mind -- one of my favourites if sung by Ray Charles. The sad song goes well with my current mood, which is on the melancholy side just now: it's two years exactly today that my divorce came through after just over ten years of marriage. Ah well. While it was liberating to get out of a marriage that was probably doomed from the word go, I don't think either of us got married with the intention of divorce. Still, that's what happened. I have regrets, I think about those days occasionally, not all of it was bad, and I've been trying to move on.

Nuff said -- no pix today, although yesterday evening a glorious sunset bathing the snowy Alps in crimson made me pull out my camera and have another go at recording the view. Soon to be seen here!

Must go, friend coming round. We want to see Casino Royale...
